A premium membership program that needed an identity worth $250,000.
VAI Resort is a luxury entertainment destination in Arizona anchored by a $50 million, 11,000-seat amphitheater, a five-acre beach oasis, and twenty-seven bar and dining experiences. When they launched AMPLIFY -- a premium membership program spanning four tiers from $25,000 to $250,000 -- the brand identity needed to carry the full weight of that promise. The strategic question was whether to position the program as exclusive ticket access or as a comprehensive premium experience. The broader positioning won, and every element of the identity system was built to reinforce it. The result is a brand that feels as refined as the experience it represents -- from printed membership credentials to digital touchpoints and venue signage throughout the resort.

THE IDEA
Positioning Before Design
A $250,000 membership card cannot share visual DNA with a concert ticket. Before any design work began, the strategic question was clear: what is the client actually selling? The answer -- access to a curated lifestyle, not access to events -- reframed the entire creative direction and shaped every decision that followed.

DETAILS
A System Built for Every Surface
The AMPLIFY identity was designed to function wherever a luxury membership program lives -- dimensional signage in resort corridors, embossed foil on printed credentials, digital cards at phone resolution, and VIP event lanyards produced at volume. The wordmark pairs with and without the descriptor depending on context, and the icon stands alone where the full lockup cannot.

DETAILS
Digital-First Membership
Most AMPLIFY members interact with their membership through a screen before they hold a physical card. The digital credential was designed as a primary application, not an afterthought -- tested against backlit displays to ensure the brand carries the same authority digitally that it does in print.
